Pope Francis received the delegation of the Abrahamic Family House at the Vatican on Monday. The House is a complex in Abu Dhabi that includes a synagogue, a church and a mosque.

The Chair of St. Peter will be on display in the Vatican Basilica until December 8. The wooden throne, symbol of the primacy of the prince of the apostles, removed from its monumental gilded bronze "reliquary" to allow for preparatory work for the Jubilee, can be admired on the altar of Confession beginning Sunday, October 27.

Last echoes of the SynodCardinal Ambongo made some statements on the diaconate of women, and also explained the opinions of Cardinal-elect Fr. Radcliffe regarding hypothetical pressures on African bishops. Finally, there were more than a thousand amendments to the final draft of the Synod.

On October 23, the 15th General Congregation of the Synod of Bishops took place, where the positions of the Ordinary Council of the General Secretariat of the Synod were renewed. With a reminder of yesterday's memory of St. John Paul II, whom he once again called "the Pope of families," Pope Francis invoked this morning at the General Audience the power of the Holy Spirit to renew the love of Christian couples. Thursday 17

The Pope has met in the Vatican with the former Prime Minister of Israel, Ehud Olmert, together with three former Palestinian Foreign Ministers: Nasser Al-Kidwa, Gershon Baskin and Samer Sinijlawi.
